Actor Pruitt Taylor Vince, known for his roles in Red Heat,Wild at Heart, Deadwood, and The X-Files, made an appearance at the red carpet premiere for the 2025 film, Superman, on July 7.
The Daily Mail reported that Vince wore a white button-down shirt and a grey suit for the event, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. The 65-year-old actor also sported brown dress shoes, a patterned tie, clear sunglasses, and a fedora. Fans of Vince, who has been in the entertainment industry for nearly 40 years, may have some trouble recognizing the actor due to his neatly trimmed grey beard.

Vince is starring in Superman, directed by James Gunn, as Clark Kent's (David Corenswet) father, Jonathan Kent, AKA Pa Kent. His on-screen wife, Martha Kent, better known as Ma Kent, is played by Neva Howell.
Musician and Kansas native Richard Christy, who is friends with Gunn, revealed that the director asked him to help Vince and Howell perfect the Kents' accent during a July 7 episode of The Howard Stern Show.
"James reached out to me and he wanted authentic Kansan accents for Ma and Pa Kent. So he asked if my parents could leave him voicemails. Ma and Pa Kent studied my parents voices," said Christy.
In addition, the drummer said he knows he'll have an emotional response when he hears Martha and Jonathan speak like his parents in Superman.
"When I hear them talk as my parents I'm going to freaking lose it," said Christy.
Howell spoke about listening to the voicemail from Christy's mother during a June 2025 interview with WTVC NewsChannel 9.
"James did something brilliant. He sent an audiotape of the tone, the accent, the dialect that he wanted. And it was from a woman in Kansas who was a farmer's wife. I lived with that tape. I listened to it over and over and over each day for months. That was the main thing that gave me the flavor of Ma," said Howell during the interview.
In addition, she said she used her mother and grandmother as inspiration when she was playing Ma Kent.
"Then the other thing I did I kind of combined my grandmother, who was kind of a stern, salt of the earth, Christian woman and my mother, who was a very gentle, unconditionally loving person. So it the combination of that tape, my mother, and my grandmother, and that gave me Ma," said the actress.
