The country artist released three new songs that fans speculated were about LaPaglia, specifically referencing his "River Washed Hair" lyrics that mentioned a "sweet girl"
LaPaglia commented on a different video that his comment made her "very excited to share some videos and stories of him" on her BFFs podcast
Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia is not holding back.
The media personality recently responded to a jab written by her ex Zach Bryan in a since-deleted comment on TikTok, several days after the country star released three new songs that fans speculated were about LaPaglia.
In a TikTok video talking about the new songs, a user under the handle "taydepadua" simply wrote, "did someone check on Bri lol," in overlayed text. She backed the clip with Bryan's "River Washed Hair" song, which he released on July 2.
"I'm so conflicted," she captioned her video, using the clip of the song that mentions a "sweet girl" in the lyrics.
In the song, Bryan sings: "Remember when we’d sit around an ol’ fire // And you’d get your guitar out to sing // We’d sing CCR, 'Jersey Giant,' 'Don’t Look Back in Anger' // Or anything by Bruce Springsteen // Back when ol’ Anna would throw her ol’ hands up // With her face framed by the fire."

"And I think I might pack a bag in the night // Find me some small town out west // Start over, find closure and just say 'I’m sorry' // To that sweet girl who tore off that dress," the lyrics continue.
Bryan, meanwhile, left a comment on the TikTok user's video.
"lmfao I said ‘sweet’ this is not about whatever she has going on hahahahahaah," the country artist wrote in the comment section, which has since been deleted.
LaPaglia reacted to her ex's jab in the comment section of a different video that talked about Bryan's comment about her.
"Lmao obviously he doesn’t think I’m sweet I turned down 12 million dollars to share my abuse while Rose [Madden] and Deb [Peifer] signed nda’s. Also fyi his songs aren’t about anyone he writes them drunk at 6am," the BFFs podcaster wrote, referencing Bryan's previous exes, who she previously alleged the singer made sign NDAs after their breakups.
Bryan was previously married to Madden from 2020 to 2021. He was in a relationship with Peifer from 2022 to May 2023.
"Also his comment just made me feel very excited to share some videos and stories of him this week on bffs," she wrote in another comment.

In October 2024, Bryan confirmed his breakup with LaPaglia in a post on his Instagram Stories more than a year after they made their relationship public in July 2023.
Post-split, LaPaglia candidly discussed her relationship with Bryan during an episode of the BFFs Podcast, alleging that he emotionally abused her.
"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude," she shared. "I'm still scared right now because I'm scared of him. My brain's rewired and I'm scared to make him mad."
LaPaglia also alleged that Bryan asked her to sign an NDA, offering her $12 million and a New York apartment to "not talk about the relationship."
Reps for LaPaglia and Bryan did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment at the time.
