The son of late Superman legend Christopher Reeve has a cameo in the new David Corenswet-led film directed by James Gunn
Corenswet recently praised Will in a PEOPLE cover story, saying, “He's a very sweet and encouraging and positive guy"
Will Reeve had fiancée Amanda Dubin by his side as he celebrated the legacy of Superman.
The 33-year-old son of late Superman legend Christopher Reeve stepped out at an afterparty in Los Angeles following the premiere of James Gunn's version of the Man of Steel's story on Monday, July 7.
Will — who has a cameo in the new film led by David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman 47 years after his father first portrayed the superhero in 1978 — looked suave in a pinstripe blue suit over a relaxed white button-up, while Dubin rocked a slinky, sparkly silver spaghetti-strap gown.
The afterparty followed a star-studded Superman premiere at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre, which was also attended by the couple as well as Gunn, 58, and Corenswet's costars, including Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Anthony Carrigan and Skyler Gisondo.

Amanda and Will, who have been dating since 2023, jointly announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Nov. 10, 2024. The pair captioned their post simply, "Us 🤍."
The groom-to-be's ABC News colleagues were quick to leave their well wishes in the comments. Among them was Gio Benitez, who wrote, "Oh my gosh this makes me SO happy!! Congratulations you two beautiful souls!!! 😍."
The following day, Will told PEOPLE of the engagement, "Friday was the happiest night of our lives, and we can’t wait to spend forever together."
Will also opened up to PEOPLE earlier this year about how he'd be honoring his late father Christopher — who died in 2004, 10 years after the equestrian accident that left him paralyzed — at their wedding.
"I'll be wearing his cufflinks," Will said.
And Corenswet, 31, recently had kind words to say about will, telling PEOPLE in a June cover story, “He's a very sweet and encouraging and positive guy."

“It would be odd to say that he gave us his stamp of approval because he would be the first to say that that's not his place to approve or disapprove,” he continued. “But when you have somebody like him on set who's excited at what they're seeing and who is excited for you, that's a very encouraging sign and means a lot."
Corenswet added, “Both because of his connection to his dad and the original big-screen Superman, but also just because it's always great to have a 6' 4" handsome, sweet guy say, ‘Hey, you're doing great stuff. Keep going.’ That's always helpful.”
Superman flies into theaters Friday, July 11.
